The Manton High School track and cross-country teams are sponsoring a 5K Run,Walk as part of a fundraising effort to help the Mitchell family who lost their husband, father to a car accident April 21, 2012. The Robert Mitchell Memorial Run, Walk will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012. It will begin at the Manton football field on Sturdevant St. Registration begins at 1 p.m.Walkers will begin at 2 p.m. and runners at 2:30. There will be a bake sale on this day and concessions available. Pre-registration and donation forms are available on Facebook under the Robert Mitchell Memorial 5K Run/Walk event page. The entry fee is $15 per person or $40 per family.
